Travel Tips for Austria Visit:
1. Hotels will charge you some extra money by city tax, in our case, it was 3 euros per person per night.
2. Local transportation and food are good.
3. If you are coming by car, parking charges are high, and roads are narrow. And parking tickets can be got by parking-side machine only. You can park under the blue line box on the roadside.
4. Vienna is a hilly area so pack your shoes to travel along and it could be raining most of the time so be prepared for it.
5. Few places need entry tickets but few are free to get access.
6. Free toilets are not available here, So they chared 0.50-1.00 euros per person every time.
7. Famous souvenirs are the magnet, salt, handmade woolen clothes, wooden toys, etc.
Travel Tips for Switzerland Visit:
1. Switzerland is beautiful but much costlier in terms of stay, food, and everything.
2. They also have city tax for stay as Austria has.
3. Souvenir: cheese, cowbell, Swiss watches, etc.
4. They have commercialized every spot for every relevant activity, like hiking trails, biking, every town, snowmobile activities, etc.
5. You can easily get town or city information at the information center which is located near the train station.
6. Usually Switzerland is a cold place and a hilly country so bring your shoes and jacket.
7. Switzerland has many panoramic trains route. Before visiting Switzerland, please do some research about different routes and trains. You need to pre-book the tickets because most of the time they are not available at the last moment.
8. You can buy food or daily groceries from Coop/Spar shop which can reduce your food expenditure.
9. Switzerland has good public transportation and information about the station and route is available at the station itself.
10. Most people speak German but they understand English as well.
Travel Tips for Italy Visit:
1. Italy is cheaper than Switzerland.
2. They also have city tax per person per day for stay.
3. Euros are an acceptable currency in all three countries.
4. Roads are really confusing and narrow in the city and town, so be careful while driving. Google Maps can confuse you.
5. the way of driving, is just like in India.
6. You will see so many customized small cars in the big cities.
7. There is no bus service available in small towns and villages. Only train stations were there.
8. It was really hot at day time so be prepared for the heat.
9. You will see so many fashionable people, things and places.
10. Old places are well maintained but not all places.
11. In small towns you can get cheaper and good food.
