Austria-Swizerland-Italy Travel story.
Hello Travel Enthusiasts,
It was Feb of 2023. We had just suffered a long harsh and dark Swedish winter. We were desperately looking out for the opportunity to go out to seek some light and warmth. Now, I asked my husband, that please take me to some scenic place that could be refreshing for me. I was born in Ajmer which is in Rajasthan, So I have a good connection with sunlight. So we have decided to go on a two-week trip to southern Europe. That was my Travel Motivation to go on this trip. We started this trip from 13th May to 28th May 2023. If you are planning to travel to the same route as mine like Austria-Switzerland-Italy or any of those single specific routes like Austria/Switzerland/Italy then this post/Travel story will be useful for you. My Travel Plan Details
- 13th: Arrived in Vienna at night and checked in at a nearby airport hotel.
- 14th: Rented a car, explored Vienna, and in the evening, headed towards Bad Goisern (Hallstadt).
- 15th: Enjoyed a two-night stay in the picturesque Bad Goisern.
- 16th: Explored Hallstatt, visited a salt mine, took in the five-finger viewpoint, and visited a charming church.
- 17th: Began our journey from Bad Goisern, traveling via Salzburg, Kophtein, Zurickh, and Visp by regional train to reach Zermatt. Explored Zermatt.
- 18th: Admired the Gornergrat and the majestic Matterhorn Mountain, followed by a breathtaking ride on the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz. Enjoyed a night walk in St. Moritz.
- 19th: Explored St. Moritz, Samedan, Bever, and Thuses, and later began our journey towards Tirano via the Bernina Express route.
- 20th: Visited Tirano, viewpoints, and picturesque grape farms.
- 21st: Commenced our travel from Tirano to Noale via Milan, rented a car for further exploration, and settled in for a 5-night stay in Noale.
- 22nd: Explored the charming city of Padua.
- 23rd: Discovered the delights of Treviso.
- 24-25th: Immersed ourselves in the enchanting beauty of Venice.
- 26th: Traveled from Noale to Milan via Como City, where we explored Como Lake and enjoyed a city tour by car.
- 27th: Explored various attractions in Milan.
- 28th: Bid farewell to our memorable journey and took our return flight back to Sweden.
